B3 Group Inc. is looking for experienced EDI Test Engineers to support the Financial Services Center within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in Austin, Texas. These roles will provide technical and data support to the Test team and will create test data for all EDI applications. These positions require hands on experience with creating 837 files for a healthcare organization. The Test Engineers will work with the Test and EDI teams to create robust test data suites, and ensure all the test cases have unique data-set created for each project. The successful candidates will have experience in the coordination and execution of test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures and scripts. They will also possess a high level of system test management expertise and demonstrated experience on leading a testing efforts for software or application development efforts as well as offer experience establishing and configuring automated testing tools and scripts.

Key responsibilities and essential functions include: Working with the Test team to help create the test data for each requirement/test case

Expertise in creating new EDI 837 claims files based on testing criteria

Evaluate, generate, execute, and maintain test data to ensure requirements coverage and explicability with positive and negative testing

Assist with API and Data Feed Setup with Business Partners and Vendors

Work with External Partner to ensure successful EDI transactions with business partners and vendors

Expertise in validating 835 files

Expertise in creating EDI 837 claim files manually without any tool

Taking initiative, prioritizing, and managing multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment a must

Coordinate with the Requirements Manager and Development team members on creating Test Plans and testing scripts for supporting product releases and minor builds.

Coordinate with Requirements Manager, Leadership Team, and Customers on defining and capturing success criteria for test plans and test cases.

Work with Developers and Build managers to identify additional support testing methodologies (e. g. White box, Black box, Smoke, Regression etc.) to ensure high product dependability and quality standards.

Work with identified Super Users and other Service Provider POC s to coordinate User acceptance testing (UAT) for new builds and releases.

Provide testing status updates to Requirements Manager, Leadership team and Development team.

Document testing approach/strategy for new developments and documentation of test scripts/test cases and test data.

In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following skills and experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline required, OR a minimum of 8 years equivalent work experience.

At least 10 years of related testing experience, including experience with EDI 837/835 claim files. Prefer experience with Rational Toolset, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MS Project, Clearquest and Remedy.

Strong technical documentation skills and problem-solving abilities.

Solid aptitude to learn and adapt to technology.

Ability to adapt well to diverse environments.

Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic team environment.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and/or other federal organizations.

Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum approach.

Preference will be given to those individuals where their primary residency is located in a qualified HUBZone (https://maps. certify. sba. gov/hubzone/map/)
