Job Description: PL/SQL Developer (Oracle)
We are looking for an SQL Developer with Senior level proficiencies in Oracle. This role will be expected to assist in the development of best practice Warehouses and Reporting database solutions. Candidates need to be able to quickly comprehend, develop, and reverse engineer relational and dimensional databases. They will enhance existing processes and need a solid understanding of performant ETL methodologies/solutions.
A successful candidate will be passionate about data solutions and willing to learn and try new approaches, with a collaborative and resourceful style.
The perfect candidate will be a strong cultural fit with great communication skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, self-train/Client, and own the vision to help drive the enterprise to be a strong data driven organization.
Writing skilled PL/SQL with experience or willingness to interface with T-SQL and Document oriented database.
Understand Data Warehouse Architectures. Star/Snowflake/Vaults/Lakes
Implement ETL Strategies from multiple platforms and engines. Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Flat table stores, subscription data.
Reverse engineer data models and perform complex data reconciliation and discovery techniques.
Propensity for data integrity. Focus on data accuracy and consistency.
Comfortable building, updating, modifying data tables, views, stored procedures, triggers and functions.
Experienced in profiling and tuning for performant data environments.
Responsible for meeting product objectives within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Bachelor's degree in related field required
3 years' experience in writing complex SQL and data environments
Experience building Traditional Data Warehouses
Skilled at interpreting and writing complex queries
Analytically minded, critical thinker, problem-solver a must
Proficient analytical skills and experience performing ad-hoc analysis using SQL for Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or Postgres-SQL preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders including senior leadership
