Being self-motivated, you have the will and the skill to drive the technical pre-sales process, including preparing and delivering product demonstrations, visiting potential clients, and coordinating the technical efforts of sales projects. You’re technically minded and like to think in systems but are not necessarily an active developer (familiarity with code is essential, the ability to write it isn’t).

What sort of work will you do?
Help clients understand how our solution can meet their business needs, by interpreting their technical requirements

Take part in bid responses
Provide initial technical training and help produce support material for the sales team
Offer after-sales support
Assist with CRM updates where it is directly related to your work
Great communication skills and an interest in relationship-building, workflows, and all the things that make teams work
An ability to distil complex technical and design solutions into presentations appropriate for their audiences
Several years’ experience in a customer-facing role, perhaps as a sales engineer, product support, or a consultant
Comfortable driving projects forward alone
Experience of both direct and channel sales engagement models
A track record of building long term customer relationships
A deep knowledge of the technologies underpinning the Internet: TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, HTML and XML
Cyber-security, both on a technical and business level
Desirable skills we hope you have some of
Familiarity with the deployment and integration of security or authentication technologies in an enterprise environment
Hands-on experience with SQL databases and dependent applications
Working knowledge of Linux and an enduring friendship with bash
Experience and understanding of software and application development
Experience of integration projects using REST API or similar
Knowledge of JEE or other application servers in cloud solutions, architecture and services; particularly deployment, configuration and administration
Technical, hands-on in an early-stage company developing across platforms
University-level courses or the equivalent experience in software architecture and/or development
