SQL Business Intelligence Analyst

Profile

The Senior Developer Analyst is primarily responsible for the development of operational reports, data cubes (business intelligence), Key Performance Dashboards, and web based applications in a Microsoft environment. Employee functions include but are not limited to the implementation of a reporting platform, data base administration, and performing data analytics to assist the business increase profitability and decrease costs.
Primary job responsibilities:
1. Implement a reporting platform and reporting standards
2. Develop and maintain core business data replicas to support mission critical data interfaces, analytics, and external reporting.
3. Design and develop operational reports for core business applications (Encompass)
4. Perform MS-SQL data base administration and implement data base backup strategies
5. Design and develop Business Intelligence cubes (mortgage lending)
6. Design and develop Key Performance Indicator Dashboards
7. Web site development and integration with loan processing systems
8. SharePoint development and integration
Qualifications & Experience:
1. This individual must possess a minimum of 4 years current experience in the following technologies:
1. SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
2. MDX development
3. SQL development
4. Excel pivot tables
5. MS SQL data architecture and development
6. Proclarity, Cognos or similar BI tools
7. MS Reporting Services (SSRS)
8. Sharepoint
2. Structured application development (SDLC)
3. Mortgage Lending industry experience is highly desired
4. Adept to working in high-stress, fast-paced environments
5. Desired certifications and skills:
1. MCDBA or MCITP:
Database Administrator or MCITP: Database Administrator 2008
2. MCSE or MCITP:
Server Administrator/Enterprise Administrator
3. SSIS development skills
4. Familiarity with PowerShell
