Our direct client of more than ten years has a one year extendable contract opportunity for a Business Analyst in their Georgetown, KY location. They are looking for a strong, self driven person to be a Business Analyst / Project Manager role for mission critical systems.

The primary responsibilities will be to understand user requirements, identify components impacted based on requirements, create design documents for developers and manage the development, testing and implementation of mission critical systems.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with minimal direction are a must.
Mainframe and/or Linux experience required. Ability to read code in order to understand components impacted and creates design documents for developer.
Work Experience Requirements:
Extensive experience (5 years) with managing projects of medium-high complexity, working with 3-5 man teams to develop custom solutions.
Strong documentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and prioritize tasks.
1-3 years experience with Mainframe and/or Linux.
Experience with MS Office (Word, Visio, Excel).
Previous experience with mission critical system is a plus.
Experience with SQL
Strong interpersonal skills a must, as this person will frequently be communicating with our business partners.
