Primary Job Duties and Tasks Work with technology team members, business units, and contractors for the express purpose of implementing Financial Business Systems enhancements and integrating to a new Enterprise Financial Business solution.

Develop software applications in conformances with the adopted AHCA methodologies, standards, and practices.

Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.

Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.

Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design and performance monitoring.

Review and confirm understanding of the interface layouts for agency's business needs, and completes interface design, build, and unit test activities.

Develop and execute software test plans as directed.

Develop software and application documentation conforming to AHCA standards.

Participate as directed in activities under the direction of an AHCA IT Project Sponsorship, including the respective IT Team Lead and stakeholders.

Create and maintain acceptance and production code migration scripts for all web and client server projects.

Working on pipeline and release processes using Azure DevOps.

Create and manage SQL queries and analyze data to respond to ad hoc requests, troubleshoot, test, or investigate anomalies.

Provide software development programming estimates as directed.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) A minimum of 2 years of systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance and integration experience in the following Knowledge in developing solutions requiring analysis and research

Ability to work on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area.

Skilled in working on one or more projects as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead. May coach more junior technical staff.

Preferred experience working with financial systems and governmental accounting, existing State of Florida Systems, including Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) and Florida Planning Accounting and Ledger Management (PALM).
