JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Card Analytics, plays a key role in instrumenting data collection, measurement, analytics and KPI frameworks for Marriott’s Global Cards business. He or she is primarily responsible for ongoing and ad hoc analytical support focused on US cobrand credit card acquisitions, including full funnel analysis of new card acquisition and cardmember promotional offers through Marriott channels, along with acquisition channel reporting and marketing optimization. He or she will work closely with both peers and partner teams to support analytical needs for US card campaign launches, validate card campaign data, develop reporting and dashboarding tools, and provide high priority decision support.
This position is part of the broader Insight, Strategy & Analytics team, which is charged with developing and utilizing state-of-the-art analytics approaches to generate business intelligence about digital customer behavior. This position is part of a team of analytics experts who are responsible for providing data driven insights and recommendations in support of Marriott’s card strategies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
4-year degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations Research, Business or Math or other quantitative discipline
2 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
Strong data analysis skills and experience with SQL, including querying and manipulation of billions of records of data, independently structuring analysis and synthesizing large volumes of complex information from multiple sources, synthesizing insights into stellar visualizations, and applying strong knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis techniques
Strong project management and verbal and written communication skills required, especially in the context of managing processes and delivering technical analysis across diverse stakeholder set
Education and Experience Preferred
Advanced degree in operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, economics, and engineering etc.
Experience with manipulating large data sets in Python, R, or SAS, and visualizing outputs in Tableau, Power BI or similar
Experience with Digital Analytics tools – Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar
Experience with analyzing Credit Card, Loyalty, Marketing, Digital or Finance data

Understands loyalty program health, member behavior and the impact that card members have on the overall program.
Conducts deep dive analytics to provide business insights to assist the US cards team in meeting their acquisition goals.
Develops reporting and visual self-service tools to provide insights into the card business, partnering with iT and data teams on implementation.
Performs a consultative role in working with cross-functional teams on card analytics.
Supports ad hoc analytics and reporting needs of the US cards team and their partners.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $81,525.00 to $174,271.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $81,525.00 to $158,430.00 annually.
New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $98,644.00 to $174,271.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $81,525.00 to $174,271.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.4616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
