The Senior Market Finance Analyst collects, analyzes, and reports on various market data, connecting operational effectiveness and member experience to financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Northeast Region is seeking a Senior Market Finance Analyst to partner closely with our local market Clinical, Provider Engagement, MRA (Medicare Risk Adjustment) & Contracting leadership to provide support through analytics and reporting. The analyst role will also provide insights for financial opportunities, informed through detailed analysis of data. This role will have exposure to regional leadership.


Works with Regional Leadership by distilling financial and non-financial data into concise presentable information that drives managerial decision making
Extracts raw data from databases and efficiently summarizing that data
Provides informative and actionable data for annual Bids submission
Creates and informs data models for various ad-hoc analysis to drive decision-making
Oversees various utilization reports and provides as a 'first responder' on emerging trends

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree
1 year Finance/Accounting experience
2 years SQL experience
2 years data analysis experience
Proficient Excel skills (pivot tables, charts/graphs, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications


Advanced Excel (macros/vba)
Experience building Tableau and/or PowerBI dashboards
Working knowledge of SAS
Masters Degree
Actuarial experience


Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
