The manager is looking for a strong SQL developer with Wealth experience in the Wilmington area. This is a contract to possible hire role. Contractor Position: Senior Database developer responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining SQL DB based applications and components for the Wealth Management business. \u2022Responsible for maintenance of applications with technologies such as SQL database. \u2022Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts and business users in conceptualizing, estimating and developing new solutions and enhancements. \u2022Assist in the definition of software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, providing time estimates for programming tasks and implementation plans. \u2022Develop technical documentation to define the system components, development environment and implementation planning\/strategies \u2022Collaborate with QA team to define test cases, metrics, and resolve questions about test results. \u2022Create and execute unit tests in accordance with team policies & procedures \u2022Assist in the creation of functional tests in cooperation with the QA team and UAT Qualifications: \u2022Developer with 4-8 years of professional experience in an enterprise scale projects required \u2022Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent \u2022Strong skills in database technologies (especially Microsoft SQL Server) including database development \u2022Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle, various development methodologies, and able to independently participate in each phase. \u2022Ability to work within tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. \u2022Experience with writing detailed technical specifications for developers; design, validate and execute software test plans.
