As an AVP, Software Engineer in our Hybrid-Operate group, you'll lead the team driving innovative usages of OutSystems and other Low Code Platforms and gain advanced hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals across diverse industries.

Responsibilities:

As a DMAAP Platform Team Lead, you will collaborate with other leaders across our Technology Solutions Center of Excellence, development, infrastructure, and security professionals to design and implement complex Low Code based solutions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior leadership to drive Low Code strategy including determining platforms utilized in the Low Code CoE as well as determining the appropriate platform based on the requirements of the initiative

Lead the overall Application Architecture for assets built on the OutSystems platform

Lead code development for assets built in OutSystems as well as manage the related DevOps and Release management processes

Liaise with internal platform alliance leadership to understand and help drive efficient and cost-effective platform usage

Ensure application development adheres to the architecture/design guidelines

Participate in enterprise level design board discussions

Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the program leadership and contribute towards on-time and on-budget delivery

Define and enforce code development guidelines for assets built on the OutSystems platform, and interface closely with governance teams

Write new OutSystems pages using our database structure and aligning with our UI/UX standards

Test development changes prior to migration to QA and make updates to QA Test Scripts to reflect code changes

Collaborate with the team and brainstorm the best way to handle workflow changes and database updates

Support development of business cases with customer teams including determining platform fit and leading estimation efforts around solutions

Lead staffing requirement discussions and provide final sign off on candidates in the recruiting process

Technical leadership/mentoring of Low code developers

The desired candidate will have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients.

Technical knowledge & experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a developer

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with OutSystems platform including Mobile Apps.

Hands on experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, Angular JS, Restful API, PowerShell etc.)

Hands on experience with scripting languages JavaScript (Node.js), Python, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS skills.

Good knowledge of MASA/SOA architecture with understanding of web service standards such as WSSE, OAuth, SAML etc. and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST).

Hands on experience with SQL Server

Application runtime experience on the AWS cloud

Management skills to manage one or more large, complex projects simultaneously

Strong teaming skills across matrixed client, vendor and geographically dispersed virtual teams

Nice to have technical and professional experience (preferred)

Experience with C#, Java

Certifications including: OutSystems Technical Lead, Reactive Web developer

Experience with software development in a cloud environment desired

Experience with UX, RPA and OutSystems Case flow management for BPM (workflow)
