ThruPoint, a leader in Unified Communications and Cisco Network Solutions is looking for an experienced Sr. ICM / Voice Network Engineer. The position entails working in a complex, multi-vendor environment engineering, supporting and maintaining call center routing. The qualified candidate will have in-depth understanding of advanced multi-site ICM management and scripting, call center operations and technologies, various enterprise and carrier call routing technologies and reporting.
This position requires advanced knowledge of Cisco ICM, MS SQL server and database technology, along with experience dealing with carrier TDM and SIP networks (Verizon, AT&T, etc.). Understanding of Avaya Call Center technology to include vector programming, CMS, and translation routes, along with Cisco CallManager (CUCM) is a plus.
Responsibilities include managing and administering development and production in the ICM environment and carrier SIP trunking enterprise including:
Configuration
Scripting
Monitoring (integration with existing systems as well as expanding for ICM specific needs)
Troubleshooting
Capacity management/planning
Data integrity/health
Security requirements
Reporting / Data Analysis
Qualifications
BS in Computer Sciences or related field.
5 years experience working in call center environments supporting large organizations on ICM platforms. Cisco ICM scripting experience, Cisco Translation Routing experience and knowledge of Cisco Network Interface Controller.
5 years Cisco ICM installation, administration and troubleshooting experience
5 years experience with Cisco translation routing and CTI applications
3 years configuring and maintaining MS Windows Servers and MS SQL server experience.
Ability to analyze complex information and participate in drawing relevant conclusions.
Ability to be flexible in order to accommodate for the necessary team initiatives.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills to facilitate the coordination and completion of multiple and varied requests
Written and oral communication skills that allow clear and concise presentation of conclusions and recommendations to a variety of audiences.
Self-starter with the ability to be effective in a large,complex and highly matrixed organization.
Ability to focus on both the details and big picture at the same time
