Roles and Responsibilities :Ability to work independently, self-starter, good team player with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.Suggest changes to product architecture based on database features and best practices.Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and forecast/plan different database activities.Work on New Features, Migrations POC's and different DB projects.Establish administrative standards and procedures.Be a database evangelist and provide guidance to Mongo Admin team.Documentation. Desired Candidate Profile :At least 5-7 years of overall experience in Database Administration.At least 3 years of experience as a Mongo DBA, 3 years as SQL DBA.Strong experience in Mongo 2x/3x.Strong DBA with performance tuning skills.Experience in JSON code.Experience with Sharding.Experience with Mongo Replication.Experience in backup/recovery procedures.Shell Scripting.Upgrades. Certification/Training:Mongo Administration Certification preferred.
