ServiceNow Developer/Administrator
I. Overview
Our client is looking for a ServiceNow workflow/interface engineer/administrator for a 6 month contract to be based in Century City, CA.
Our client has recently implemented ServiceNow as their IT Service Management solution and would like to use the platform to build custom applications for automating activities unique to their business requirements.
Our client needs an experienced system engineer/developer to be dedicated to the creation, customization, configuration and maintenance of UI and workflows on top of the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
II. Responsibilities
1. Lead all technical aspects of solution delivery including:
a. Application UI Configuration
b. Workflow Configuration
c. Service Level implementation
d. Report development
e. Dashboard creation
2. Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc)
3. Utilize language skills for new development or by manipulation of existing code (Java Script, HTML)
4. Interface with ServiceNow technical teams, such as Cloud Infrastructure, to successfully set up the SaaS platform
5. Suggest continuous improvements of our methodology and service offerings based on client experiences
6. Design and engineer solutions leveraging all appropriate components offered by ServiceNow to answer the needs for Business workflows, ticketing or other ITSM requirements.
7. Implement efficient, effective solutions that may contain but are not limited to service-level reporting, workflow implementation, process automation and integration with multiple systems.
8. Integrate ServiceNow with other systems where applicable
9. Perform analysis on complex business problems and provides a variety of solutions
10. Drive architectural changes taking into consideration dependencies, relationships and integration points
11. Understand database structures, data warehousing and reporting techniques
12. Participate on project teams as a technical resource while having a solid understanding of process management
13. Collaborate with IT, business teams and Program Director on solutions
14. Assist in testing and implementing vendor releases of the ServiceNow platform
III. Required Qualifications
1. Experience configuring or administering platform-based tools, preferably ServiceNow
2. Strong understanding of basic service management concepts
3. Development or programming experience
4. Management tools such as ServiceNow, HP, Remedy, etc.
5. Experience with SQL
6. 5 years experience with coding in Java Script/HTML/XML
7. Excellent customer service and collaborative capabilities
8. Familiarity with ITIL concepts and principles a plus
9. Ability to see minute detail and big picture and any situation
